The court case in which Michael Van Blerk, one of Kenneth Raydon Sharpe’s aid was set to be examined by a Government’s medical doctor was almost interrupted after two unidentified men appeared at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals claiming to be security agents.

The two unidentified men allegedly threatened Doctor Ropafadzo Rachael Muzvidziwa through her work colleague Gambiza Nondunduzo, alleging that she should stop pursuing Mr Van Blerk’s examination because he is connected to the President(Munhu waPresident). This prompted the doctor to report the case to the popice .

Mr Van Blerk is supposed to be attending a court case in which he is facing perjury charges. He however failed to to attend his court case after falling sick. It is in this regard that the magistrate demanded a medical examination report of Mr Van Blerk from a government medical practitioner.

The following is an extract from CID Police Anit-Corruption (NR)ER Statement given by Gambiza Nondunduzo.

“The accused persons indicated to me that they had come from the President’s Office and were making a followup on a client who was being attended to by Doctor Muzvidziwa known as Van Blerk saying that “Munhu waPresident”.

The two unidentified men went on to give a strong warning against Doctor Mundizvidza.

“The accused persons then told me to warn Doctor Muzvidziwa to stop attending to that client and to remove herself from that matter,” reads the papers.
