MDC Alliance Vice President and prominent lawyer, Tendai Biti has launched a direct attack on the Mnangagwa led government for failing to consider purchasing COVID-19 vaccines to save lives of many Zimbabweans.

Biti sentiments comes at a time when Zimbabwe’s number of COVID-19 cases and deaths are on the rise. The country has lost more than five public figures this week alone.

Tendai Biti posted on his Tweeter Account putting a myriad blame on the government.

“With compatriots dropping like flies, its shocking that regime has no plan or program for COVID vaccines.Insanely the 2021 budget failed to provide any funds for vaccine purchases So Zim suffers from mis governance.Other countries face pandemics Zim faces a plan-demic.#Pathetic https://t.co/a0aG9d2qSM https://twitter.com/BitiTendai/status/1352557193590169600?s=20.”

Amid all this countries in Southern Africa in the likes of South Africa and Swaziland have already rolled out their COVID-19 Vaccine plans.
