In matches played on Saturday, former champions Dynamos FC’s 2018 premiership campaign got off to a false start when they lost 0:1 to Chicken Inn in a 2018 opening match played at Barbourfields Stadium.
Fast emerging giants Ngezi Platinum were 2:0 winners over premiership debutants Herentals whom they hosted at Baobab Stadium.
