Bosso win as Dembare, Caps draw matches

By Sports Reporter

HIGHLANDERS bagged their second set of maximum points away to premiership newcomers Herentals on Sunday as fellow premiership heavyweights Dynamos and Caps United registered draws in Round 2 of the 2018 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League race.

Substitute Ozias Zibande (pictured) scored twice for Bosso to ensure the Bulawayo side were 2-0 winners over their Harare opponents.

But Dynamos could rank as the villains of the weekend after they threw away a comfortable 3 goal lead infront of their fans at Rufaro Stadium to share the spoils with Shabanie Mine.

Valentine Kadonzo, Kudzanai Demere and Quality Kangadze scored for Dembare only to see the goals cancelled by Shabanie Mine’s David Temwanjira who scored twice with Richard Kawondera coming in with the third.

In Bulawayo, former champions Caps United salvaged a point away to newly promoted Bulawayo Chiefs to end the match in a 2-all at Luveve Stadium.

At Gibbo Stadium, Triangle lost 0:2 to visiting Ngezi Platinum in their second straight defeat in the 2018 race.

Saturday results;

Black Rhinos 2, ZPC Kariba 0; Harare City 1, Bulawayo City FC 0; Nichrut 0, Chicken Inn 0; Platinum, Yadah 0; Mutare City Rovers FC 2, Chapungu Utd 3.
