Calls for Govt to ease transport woes

The Passengers Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) said the country could be sitting on a health time bomb. Overcrowding of commuters at bus terminuses scares the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

Tafadzwa Goliat PAZ President spoke to Spotlight Online News Africa this Friday, suggested that Government should allow the coming of other players to help improve transport situation.

“As Passengers Association Of Zimbabwe the number of covid-19 infections in this country is increasing so we are sitting on a time bomb. Government must do something by allowing other organized players such as Chovhamubaiwa,Bupta and UCOZ and Ghaco.We are against the overcrowding of commuters at the bus terminal across the country. ”

PAZ has been assessing transport situation in the country since the intensification of lockdown period.
