MDC Alliance presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa and his coalition partners will on Tuesday lead the march for electoral reforms set to be staged in Harare’s CBD.
Alliance co-principal Tendai Biti told The Zimbabwe Star on Sunday that they were not going to put the lives of other Zimbabweans in front and fail to put personal sacrifice.
“We will not just join the march. We will be there leading from the front. We will not expose kids. We will be there,” Biti said.
The march will see the opposition front and its followers march to ZEC offices to deliver a petition calling for electoral reforms.
The MDC Alliance comprises seven opposition parties.
The march could turn violent as Zanu PF has also called for a similar march ostensibly to show solidarity with party Presidential candidate Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vows to peace.
