COVID-19: UK threatens to intensify ban on outside home exercises

United Kingdom is likely to intensify a ban on exercises outside home in the event of people elapsing social distancing rules.

Matt Hancock, UK’s Secretary of Health there will be an urgent need to take action in the worst scenario to curb the spread of the pandemic.

“So I say this to the small minority of people who are breaking the rules or pushing the boundaries: you’re risking your own life and the lives of others and you’re making it harder for us all,” he said.

Hancock’s sentiments follows frequent gatherings of people in resort places and parks on a sunny weather threatening the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

UK COVID-19 death toll has reached 4,934, including 12 more in Wales, seven in Northern Ireland and two in Scotland.
