GODA MOYO: new artiste on the bloc


Goda Moyo is the most promising and upcoming Sungura music artiste.

The Sungura crooner is a nephew to the late Tonga “Dhewa” Moyo.

He entered into music industry with a bang. Just like his uncle, Goda plays lead vocals though with a different taste.

He was born on 04 December 1990 in Zvishavane.

He attended his primary education at several schools and these are Rwavamutangi(grade1-3), Dayadaya(grade4-5) and Makwasha(grade5-7).

He completed his Secondary education at Mandava High School.

He developed his music and acting carrier while at Mandava High School. Since then he has been involved in a number of drama productions.

This include Chitsidzo, Chengaose, Fidelis, Makunakuna, Blood hands, The game, Chinhambwe, Marwei and Jemedza.

He became serious in taking music as a carrier in 2020. He grew up as a Sungura music fan.

His quest for music industry was inspired by Tongai Moyo(his late uncle) and the late Lenard ‘Musorowenyoka’ Dembo.

He ventured into the music industry with a bang. His first track titled “Mambo Solomon” marked a turning point for the revival of the legacy left by his late uncle, Tongai Moyo.

Some of the tracks released include “Vekwangu”, “Wakonewa”, “Njiva” and “Kunze Kwayedza”. All the tracks were produced by Master Flexx.

Goda is currently working on a new album title “Ndezve Moyo”.

His venture into the music industry has been received with great excitement with music fans seeing the extension of Tonga “Dhewa” Moyo’s legacy.
