Chiredzi West Legislator Farai Musikavanhu donated groceries and food stuffs to the Johanne Masowe eChishanu congregants led by Madzibaba Tyregy Chigadzira.
The Member of Parliament had visited the Apostolic Church to check on level of compliance to COVID-19 guidelines. He took the opportunity to present groceries where he also made some donated supplements for people with albinism.
“We were here on a specific visit to check on level of compliance to COVID-19. We then took the opportunity to make some donations to the congregants.”
He also urged the apostolic sect to embrace Pfumvudza programme so that they may receive inputs from the government.
“We are also urging them to embrace Pfumvudza programme so that they get inputs for the agriculture season.”
Madzibaba Tyregy Chigadzira said his congregants were grateful for the for the donations made to them. They are also ready to support government programs on agriculture such as Pfumvudza which is meant to ensure food security in the country.
“We are grateful for the wonderful donations we have received from our Members of Parliament and we also thanking them for thier support and visit to us. They have also urged us to embrace the Pfumvudza programme on Agriculture introduced by the Government to end food insecurity in the country.”
