RISING sungura artiste ,Mark Ngwazi paid school fees for five ophans at Mapere primary school in Mazowe West constituency last week.
Ngwazi was performing at Zanu pf victory’s celebrations for ward 24 councillor Beauty Mugadzaweta.
Speaking to Newsday life and style Ngwazi said when ever he performs at a school he ploughs back by paying fees to the needy.
“When ever l perform at a school l see to it that l pay fees for the needy because this talent has to benefit the nation l paid $125 for five children today,” he said ecstatically.
Ngwazi wires stole Minister of Information and Communication Technology Kazembe Kazembe’s heart who was the guest of honor and he took to the dance floor supported by ward councillors.
Kazembe could not hide his joy for Ngwazi’s gesture and encouraged more artists to plough back to communities they perform in.
“What Ngwazi did here in Mazowe is very commendable , we took to the dance floor and showed our different museve dances but one thing that other musicians should emulate is to plough back to different communities they perform in well done Ngwazi,” Kazembe said.
