As Zanu PF provincial elections draw closer, big wigs in Mashonaland Central Province have embarked on a mission to decompaign other members on the battle for top posts.
Musanhi has engaged in a decompaign mode against James Makamba who is an aspiring candidate for the chairmanship.
This have seen other members in the Province criticizing the ZANU PF Politburo member for launching what they label a ‘smearing campaigns’.
The battle for supremacy have also seen in the previous week, the embattled Kazembe Kazembe in an attempt to advance his own personal expediency when he co-opted PEC members aligned to his camp.
This time around Musanhi is now pushing for Lazarus Dokora on chairmanship for main wing while Tsitsi Gezi for chairwoman.
The politburo member has been on an expedition in the province donating goats while decompaigning Makamba. .
The most famous provincial visits were Mt Darwin and Guruve where he stamped his support for Kazembe.
Amid all this, the visits attracted gatherings a move that has been seen to be violating COVID-19 regulations.
Sources say that Musanhi opted for Dokora after claiming that Makamba failed to find approval from vice president Constatine Chiwenga.
Meanwhile, he has been holding meetings with District Coordinating Committee members where he promised to help them with computers inorder to speed up the registrations at cells.
Both Makamba and Musanhi have not yet opened up in response to the ongoing political myopia in their Province.
