Seed Co maintains Corporate Social Responsibility

The African Seed Company  has maintained its corporate social responsibility in assisting the needy and the vulnerable members of the society as it extended donations in kind to care homes on Tuesday at the Group headquarters in Mt Hampden

Christmas gifts worth thousands of dollars were donated to care homes which include Mutemwa Leprosy Center, Mother of Peace,Mashambanzou Care Trust ,Jairos Jiri among others.

Speaking to this news crew Marjory Mutemererwa Group Head Public Relations and Communications the Group has mantained the norm to celebrate Seed Co Corporate Social Responsibility Day on the 11th of December to bring transformation to vulnerable lives.

“As we are about to enter the festive season we have brought you here to give you your early Christmas gifts as we recognize your efforts and we are here to augment your efforts and assist where we can, all our efforts .”

“Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy aims to bring transformation to lives and this has been an integral part of our values- giving back is what makes us the home of Bumper Harvests, over the years we have adopted the various strategies in an effort to bridge the gap between those who have more and those with less and our main focus as been to promote health, wellness, education, sports, culture, and also agriculture.”
