“Sell dogs to carter for your bills,” Ukrainian MP tells pensioners

A Ukrainian Legislator has urged a pensioner to sell dog in order to pay for her utility bills.

The parliamentarian made the remarks during a live television show and since then pictures of dogs have been awash on social media.

Lyubov Kolyucha, 66 complained that she was incapable of catering for her needs from her 2,000 Ukrainian hryvnias ($79; £61).

However the Ukrainian Parliamentarian made an unusual response during the 112 Ukrayina TV channel show.

This ignited into a joke all over the country.

Mr Brahar, 25, of the ruling Servant of the People party, later apologised on his Facebook page, saying he was a “novice in politics”.
