Spotlighting SAMS Engineering as a COVID-19 Frontliner

SAMS Engineering is among the first firms to introduce hand washing stations in the country and have been actively involved in the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic throughout the entire year as a front liner.

The SAMS Handwashing Stations which are found all over the country depicts the country’s capabilities in devising innovative mechanism in dealing with an outrageous global pandemic.

The stations offers a help self service for people to sanitize thier hands both at public gatherings and domestic use.

Apart from this, the firm is also the manufacturer of the hand washing soap that works along with the handwashing station. The soap is prominent in public institutions and the private sphere.

SAMS Engineering services and products have extended beyond the commercial aspects in dealing with the deadly pandemic.

Spotlight Online News Africa conducted an interview with James Samhembere Executive Director of SAMS Engineering who explained the firm’s ability to honor its corporate social responsibility.

“During the whole year we have been able to extent huge contributions of our services and products to government departments, schools, churches and various public gatherings,” he said.

The SAMS Engineering donated more than 200 litres of handwashing soaps and 200 litres handwashing stations to Schools in Harare and also extended to Salvation Army Church. More than 200 litres of handwashing soap and 200 litre handwashing stations were also donated to Zimbabwe Republic Police National Headquarters.

The engineering firm also participated in the Global Hand washing day where it donated 5 200 litre hand washing stations and 200 litres of hand washing soaps. The event was graced by the presence of Rtd General Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who also endorsed the initiatives.
