Strict COVID-19 regulations for Zimbabwe Agricultural Show


The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society has announced that there will be maximum adherence of COVID-19 Guidelines for this year’s agricultural show.

This year’s show will commence from 27th of September to 1 October 2019 and will run under the theme “Synergies for Growth- Corporate- Collaborate- Complement”.

Speaking during a Press Conference held in the Capital on Tuesday, ZAS Chief Executive Officer said all exhibitors coming to the show are expected to be fully vaccinated or produce COVID-19 Tests Certificates.

“All exhibitors coming to the Show require to have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or else they will be required to produce COVI-19 test certificate from a test taken no later than 48 hours before the start of the show.”

Apart from this ZAS has put in place all necessary measures need to curb the pandemic from spreading. This include stationed booths for free COVID-19 vaccinations, body temperature checks on all entries, walk in sanitizer booths.
The CEO hinted on some of the major highlights to be expected on this year’s Edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show.

“The highlights of the show will include:
An exhibition in the Mining Agric Village which will demonstrate the strong synergies between mining and agricultural sector.
The Annual National Agribusiness Conference will be held on Wednesday, 29 September 2021, and
The Show will be available on a virtual platform.
