UEFA Boss falls in love with Zimbabwe

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has described Zimbabwe as the safe tourist destination following his recent tour to Victoria Falls during the festive season holidays.

In a statement early this week at a send off dinner held in Victoria Falls, Aleksander Ceferin expressed excitement and joy during his worthwhile stay in the country.

He described Zimbabwe as a fantastic country where he pledged to tell the reality of its tourism story abroad.

“Zimbabwe is a fantastic country, with fantastic flora and fona, we had a great fun and we will promote Zimbabwe everywhere trust me!!”

Meanwhile the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) has expressed delight over Mr Caferin’s visit to Zimbabwe saying the country is ready to see both the marketing and ambassadorial role pledged.

“As Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) we are very delighted to have had Mr Ceferin coming here together with his family for the holiday and a bit of football business to do so we are excited that he has pledged to go and tell people about how beautiful Zimbabwe is , about how safe the destination is, how friendly the people are and the generality of the tourism product.”

“We would like to thank him for the time to come here and we are looking forward to the marketing role and ambassadorial role he has pledged by speaking well about our country and our destination. This is also a testament that we are the must visit and the destination of choice,” said Godfrey Koti Head of Communications Zimbabwe Tourism Authority.

The visit by UEFA Boss came at a time when HollyWood Stars and couple Mr Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones visited the Majestic Falls during the festive season holiday.
