Zim awaits completion of tourism projects

Zimbabwe looks forward to the completion of line projects in the Tourism and Hospitality sectors after standing on hold at the back of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

This came to light during the last Post Cabinet briefing where Information and Broadcasting Services Minister hinted on the feedback by Environment and Tourism Minister Mangaliso Ndlovu.

The developments set for commissioning include Kore-Kore Cultural Village, World of Wonders Service Excellence Training Programme and the Mutarazi Falls One Community Curio Shop in Nyanga. Also mere completion of lion park at Mutirikwi.

“The Minister informed Cabinet that development of the Kore-Kore cultural village and World of Wonders Service Excellence Training Programme stood at 90% complition, was ready for commissioning.”

“The construction of a one community curio shop at Matarazi Falls, in Nyanga,was at 95% completion and construction of a lion park at Mutirikwi/Kyle Recreation Park stood at 95% completion.”

The developments are likely to go a long way in scaling up the promotion of domestic tourism in the country.
