Zim expresses worry on its citizens in Ukraine

Soilders bracing for war amid Russia-Ukraine Crisis

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate with the former Soviet Union launching an attack on Eastern Ukraine thereby worrying of a potential outbreak of a global war catastrophe.

Amid all this, Zimbabwe’s Government has called upon its citizens in Ukraine to seek assistance from its Embassy housed in Berlin Germany.

The Government announced via Ministry of Information Tweeter Account @InfoMinZw.

“Govt has taken note of the current situation in Ukraine and the possibility of our nationals being caught in it. Any Zimbabweans in Ukraine needing Govt intervention are advised to make contact with our Embassy in Berlin on Tel: +49 30 232556760

Russia has for days demanding a conformity from Ukraine which of late has shown resistance amid sovereignty issues.

Over the past weeks USA, Germany and France have been persuading Russia to resolve Ukraine Conflict via the route of diplomacy which Russia blatantly ignored.

In the latest move Russia has announced a full fletched invasion of Ukraine while EU countries such have strongly condemned the move with USA issuing tougher sanctions on Russia.

Meanwhile, UN Chief Antonio Gutteries have since condemned Russia’s inevitable move to annex Ukraine.
