All is set for Zim Women Do Dubai Conference to take place from the 21st to 22nd of February 2020.
The Business Indaba is expected to be attended by Zimbabwean women from different parts of the world, will be a showcased opportunity to uplift business ventures and aspirations in creating hope for the country.
Reverend Dr Abigirl Magwenzi RedLipstick Founder Revolution revealed his during a Press Conference held this Tuesday in the Capital.
“Plans are now at an advanced stage to host Women Indaba in Dubai, this will be an ideal platform for Zimbabwean women abroad to explore new business minds and ventures, ” said Dr Magwenzi.
According to Dr Magwenzi the conference will be a great opportunity for Zimbabwean women to find linkeges and synergies to allow a free flow of business interaction between the locals and diasporans.
“We hope that the conference will be able to create a networking platform for the locals and those living in diaspoa, this is how the today’s woman can contribute to the development of our country.”
Amanda Manyeruke Founder ARUKA NGO and wife to Guspy Worrior, Dance hall artist said she is expecting to see the conference finding ways to build accommodation facilities to the disadvantaged.
“As a participant I am expecting the conference to look into the accommodation issues to cater for the vulnerable and disadvantaged people. We are also concerned about building rehabilitation centers for our drug addict youths among other issues and providing cycho-social support for the victims of Cyclone Idai.”
Vandudzai Zirebwa General Manager Buy Zimbabwe said the conference will enable locals to establish businesses abroad and scaling up the visibility of Zimbabwean products.
“The upcoming event will allow our Zimbabwean products to find value in the abroad market and it will be good to have a Zim Supermarket promoting our own products in Dubai.”
The Conference is expected to be attended by 100 delegates from different parts of the world and will be followed by another event in Germany.
Dubai is one of the few countries in the world to emerge from a mere desert to become a beautiful tourist destination.
