Zimbabwe War Victims Association castigates 31July Protests

The Zimbabwe War Victims Association(ZWVA) has condemned the planned demonstrations by some political activists slated for 31st July. Says peace and tranquility should prevail in the country to allow course of development.

ZWVA Chairperson, Vongai Mutokoti spoke to Spotlight Online News Africa this in a statement this Monday.

“We have noted with great concern about the planned political activities which some political leaders and activists have planned. As Zimbabwe War Victims Association(ZWVA) we are against the the planned demonstrations.”

She also said protests characterized by violence and activism derails progress and course of national development. Therefore should not be tolerated.

“What we want to see is the implementation of polices that are relevant to national building, therefore, violence and activism should not be tolerated in our country at all costs.”

ZWVA is an association of War Victims with disabilities that came in the result during the Liberation War Struggle for Independence.
