Zimbabwe’s COVID-19 Update; records progress in vaccination

The COVID-19 situation for Zimbabwe continues to worry as the global pandemic continues to bring more harm than good to the national citizens.

Currently, Zimbabwe is under a lockdown intensified by the government in order to curb the spread of the pandemic and lose of lives.

The Ministry of Health and Child Care daily updates shows the escalation of COVID-19 cases with an increase in the number of deaths.

The Ministry communicated via its micro blogging twitter handle @MoHCC.

[@MoHCC: “COVID-19 update: As at 23 July 2021, Zimbabwe had 95 686 confirmed cases, including 62 986 recoveries and 2 961 deaths. To date, a total of 1 400 905 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.”]

Meanwhile the country continues to witness a magnitude increase in the number of people vaccinated against the deadly pandemic.
