Zimbabwe’s own celebrated long time comedian Lazarus Boora popularly known as “Gringo” has died. He was 47.
The legendary comedian succumbed to an ailment linked to stomach disturbances and renal complications. He has been battling the ailment for sometime.
A close relative confirmed the passing on of the widely celebrated actor.
Gringo who has been admitted at Westview Hospital in Zimre Park died this morning.
Lazarus Boora rose to fame in his popular role as “Gringo” whose comic character in the ZBC drama captured many viewers.
The passing on of Gringo comes at a time when the nation is still in a fresh mourning of another widely celebrated businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure who got involved in a tragic accident along Domboshava road on Sunday.
